After ages, the Lazio manager is returning to action and his players are awaiting to get under his supervision again. Maevious Fox is expected back to Rome tommorow and thousands of fans will be at Fiumicino for his arrival. In a short radio interview Maevious Fox stated that he is looking forward to return to his team and meet with all CaNCeRS again. His absence all these months was quite obvious but now everything will change !

Session News
Despite the big pressure our defence was placed tactically right and we managed to snap the 3pts from Juventus.
Although we played with 3 attack oriented players our Defensive Midfielders did an enourmous job and they succeed to cut-off most of the organised attacks from Juventus.
The fact that we know that Juve has some players that are capable by themselves to create a goal we played without man-to-mans but with a sophisticated double defence zone having our attackers always to press the DMCs of the opponent.
Many congratulations should go though to our keeper who made 2-3 brilliant saves reflecting this way the overall excellent performance of the team.
Finally, I would like to congratulate Flavio Manuel Galetti who, for once again, showed his sporting spirit inside and outside the pitch. |

General comments and team analysis by Maevious Fox
Our hard work during pre-season training gave us some good results in the beggining of the season. Great victories over Milan home (1-0) and Juve away (0-1) boosted the team morale. New players like Morrone, Calaio, Vogel, Delgado and Robinho have enriched the squad depth and more options are available now. Despite what others say, we are not considering ourselves as favourites for the title as we are still in the beggining and we have many difficult games to play home and away. Moreover, the addition of the youths Van de Borre, Pandev and Lauteri in the first squad please us as their progress in the last season was more than impressive and they are ready now to face the Serie A challenge.
Some slight changes to our tactics have also took place in order to fit the squad more effectively in the pitch. Key players like Liverani, Dabo, Zauri, Oddo and Rocchi will have a more active role this season but at the same time they will need more time to rest in the intervals using players like Morrone, Donadel, Van de Borre, Donati, Pandev who all are ready to make the big step. In attack our options between Inzaghi, Muzzi, Calaio, Delgado, Pandev, Robinho and Roncatto are more than satisfactory for this season and as our attack was the most problematic area last season we expect it to become more productive this season. In defence things will run more or less as last year with some more options available as we mentioned above and in midfield things will rather change a bit in order to fullfil the attack with more options and chances.
As it is expected, we will give priority to the Serie A and we may leave a bit behind the Coppa Italiana and possibly the Champions League depending on the condition of our key players. Fixtures programme will be rather hard containing 2 and 3 games during one only week so our fans should not be surprised if they see different squad synthesis in Coppa and Ch. League games.
My predictions say that Milan and Juventus will among the strong title contenters with Inter trying hard to reach a competent race but their top cancer manager has long ago left any plans of training reforming and playing structure and it will be very difficult but not impossible to make the step. Milan has made some excelent transfers and Toli Bideli will have to fit in all these top players but I think he will have no problem doing it... Juventus in my opinion will base its playing style to the last season and Galetti will probably have to make one or two good magic tricks only in order to snap the title. Roma has many young players and it will be difficult to edge into Milan and Juventus although a pleasant surprise is always welcome as Gianni Papello is doing an excellent work in our rivals. As for Lazio we hope to stay as close as possible to Milan and Juventus and make a full sprint in the last 10 games (somethning in which we are really good) if we want to challenge for the title. For example if our difference with Milan and Juve will not be more than 4-5 pts in the last 10 games then we will have a good chance...!

Team News - End season 12
A very good season for Lazio despite a number of unsolved problems.... Lazio builds a new team with young players like Roncatto, Van den Borre, Talamonti, Lequi, as well as with the experience of Liverani, Cesar, Oddo, Zauri and the new arrived Morrone, Donati, Donadel, Vogel, Calaio. The addition of Lauteri, Lagiotti and one or twl more form U20s who won the title in their division will give Lazio a different play next season. All in Lazio we would like to congratulate Milan and Toli Bideli for the title, Juventus and Flavio Manuel Galetti for the Coppa Italia and Papi Vogi from Inter for offering a genuine cancered playing in Serie A. Especially we would like to congratulate Gianni Papello and Roma for a fair way of playing and wish them best of luck next season...
Team News
Despite the good start, our problems could not stay hidden for long. In the game against Brescia we made so many chances but we could not score and in 86' our visitors equalised with an own goal...
Moreover v Inter, it is really unbelievable how we managed to concede 3 goals in 4 minutes (3', 5' 7') and all by 3 corners. However, in the second half we did play far more better than Inter but nothing changed as our scoring problem did not encourage us for more...
In the game v Udinese the same thing happened and by one goal in the 2' by corner, we lost the game and we were not able to score at least the equaliser in one of the many chances we made...
As such, the training for our attackers is changing dramatically from tomorrow and becomes harder and longer since we do not have the luxury to buy a good striker. May I congratulate the Inter manager Papi Vogi and wish him good luck for the rest of the thing. In Europe we were a bit better and managed to qualify for the Group Rounds hoping to earn some cash.
As far as the statements of Toli Bideli, none disagrees that Milan is one the best teams in Italy and the SuperCoppa match was just a verification of this as we have been left decimated by our problems and in any case we cannot today compare the players of Milan and the players of Lazio, since we were forced to sell all our best in order to stay alive...
> Journalist Question: Do you believe that the team will struggle to stay in Serie A this season?
> Answer: Well, I hope not but if this start to happen I think we will start to resort to other methods to solve this like, new haircuts, new shirts etc because there will be nothing else to do... We may consult Gianni Papello who has a long experience in these.....
